Dish Cult is a new venture pairing food - curious diners with restaurants. The app brings everything you need together, recommendations tailored to the customer, latest industry news, chef bios, new openings and much more. Dish Cult has already taken New Zealand by storm and is being brought to the Australian and UK markets this year.

About the Role*

Team Leads play an important role in motivating their team, providing effective guidance and ensuring their success. Youll be overseeing your teams operations through the setting of clear team goals, delegation of work, and maintaining a healthy and motivating atmosphere. You will also ensure that the developers on your team are provided with opportunities to grow in ways that align with their own goals and our Career Progression Framework.

We trust our developers to do what's best for the product and we give them the support they need to make whatever they do a success. You should be willing to get involved in all aspects of the software development life-cycle: we want you to own what you do, not just finish the code and throw it over the wall.

Working closely with our Product team to produce quality code and end-user products, you will be involved in the development of user stories, estimates and work plans for your teams backlog. Therefore, good communication skills are a must.

Our technology*
Our teams are free to use the technologies they think suit best but in general were a .NET house and youll find various versions being used in our code base. Most new code is written in .NET Core with React.js and hosted in Azure using Kubernetes. Youll also see CosmosDB, Redis, Octopus and Azure pipelines used frequently.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualities*

• Several years of experience in C# .NET/.NET Core, SQL, React.js

• Strong facilitation and coaching skills

• Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects

• Working on teams using Agile Methodologies

• Understanding of object-oriented programming

• Understanding of or experience with TDD
